Academic Masterclass was born from our own experiences as academics. We recognized the unique challenges faced by researchers, PhD students, and postdocs in managing their academic lives. CEO & Course instructor
Suzanne van Wouw is a passionate academic currently finishing her PhD and teaching at the University of Amsterdam, where she lectures for the Master’s program in Biomedical Sciences. With a deep commitment to helping others succeed in academia, Suzanne co-founded Academic Masterclass to provide practical, high-quality courses that equip academics with the skills they need to thrive. As a key contributor to "The Struggling Scientists," a social media and YouTube channel dedicated to supporting academics, Suzanne is driven by the desire to make the academic journey less daunting and more rewarding. Her focus is on empowering others to collect the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of academic life with confidence.

Jayron Habibe is a dedicated academic with a passion for making the academic journey easier for others. With a PhD and years of experience as a lecturer at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands, Jayron brings a wealth of knowledge and firsthand experience to Academic Masterclass.
